Kanye West Is The Only Credited Featured Artist On XXXTentacion's Posthumous Album
The release date is set for December 7.
Skins, which will be the first full body of work released since the Florida musician's untimely death back in June, will drop on Dec. 7. The full track list was unveiled today, and the 10-track LP will feature the Chicago MC on the song "One Minute."
After XXX's death, West posted a since-deleted tweet praising the 20-year-old.
“I never told you how much you inspired me when you were here thank you for existing," he wrote. West also revealed that the young man's vocals are expected to appear on his upcoming album YAHNDI.
Since XXXTentacion's murder earlier this year, he has received mounds of praise and has appeared posthumously on songs by artists such as Lil Wayne, Skrillex, Lil Pump and more. Adversely, his dangerous behavior has made his death just as polarizing as his time on Earth.
In October and November, Pitchfork released audio and transcriptions from the musician's time in jail. XXX (real name Jahseh Onfroy) spoke on the phone to many people and described "bashing" his ex-girlfriend's face. Onfroy was awaiting trial in a domestic abuse case prior to his death.
