Kanye West Claims Drake Threatened Him And His Family

"If anything happens to me or anyone from my family you are the first suspect."

Things are growing more intense between Kanye West and Drake. Only hours after Kanye's first rant, he hopped back on Twitter on Dec. 13, for part two. Only this time, Ye alleged that Drake threatened him.

In the second part of his Twitter rant, Kanye claimed that his phone call with Drizzy took a violent turn. "Drake called trying to threatened me," he wrote. "So Drake if anything happens to me or anyone from my family you are the first suspect. So cut the tough talk."

It's unclear what Drake may have said to Kanye, but the Kids See Ghosts artist definitely seemed to be bothered by the situation.

Ye also touched on their previous feud, in which he claimed Drake was taunting him in public, but would refuse to sit down and hash out their differences. "How you gone text Kris but not speak to me," he said, referencing his mother-in-law Kris Jenner.

As previously mentioned, Kanye's latest tirade comes shortly after the rapper put Drake on blast for not returning his phone calls. He stopped tweeting for a short period when he announced that Drake had finally given him a call.

While Kanye stated that he would not physically harm Drake like "MTV boxing," he did say that he would not be bullied or threatened by him any longer. "You trying to be a bully. I never been bullied in my life and I never will be," he said. "That’s why I made it this far in a pink polo."

As She Should: Megan Thee Stallion Reportedly Files To Trademark ‘Hot Girl Summer’

It’s the unofficial theme of summer 2019, and everything from celebrities to brands– big and small– have taken note. In a very wise move, rapper and originator of the term “Hot Girl Summer” Megan Thee Stallion has reportedly filed to trademark the phrase sweeping the nation.

Per Billboard, the trademark was filed on Jul. 10, the same day the Texas MC declared that she was “in the process” of making the term trademarked.

“The saying has taken off across the country thanks to her diehard Hotties fanbase, which Meg defines as women -- and men -- ‘unapologetically’ being themselves and "living their truth,” writes the site.

“Hot Girl Summer” has been used the world over (most recently in cringe-inducing fashion) by brands such as Forever 21, Wendy’s and Maybelline. According to the report, if the phrase is approved, the trademark will cover the saying on merch such as hoodies, T-shirts and sportswear.

Yes mam it’s been in the process 🔥💙 https://t.co/ZQfZbZNqhK

R. Kelly's Crisis Manager Steps Down From His Role

R. Kelly’s crisis manager Darrell Johnson has reportedly stepped down from his position.

According to a message sent out by journalist Tia Ewing, as of Monday (Jul. 22), Johnson announced his resignation to Fox 32 in Chicago. “Mr. Kelly is in good hands with [lawyer] Mr. [Steve] Greenberg!” Johnson wrote in the message.

Per Ewing, this is a message sent directly from Johnson. The news was subsequently confirmed by CBS News.

Johnson recently stated that his former client was a “normal person,” however, he also said that he would “never” leave his own daughter with anyone who is an accused pedophile during an interview with CBS News.

"They've indicted Mr. Kelly. He's in jail right now. He will have his day in court," Johnson said during the interview with Gayle King. "And they'll have to bring the evidence. And that's what has to be done. If the evidence stick, Mr. Kelly will spend the rest of his life in the penitentiary."

Kelly is currently behind bars and was recently denied bail after a slew of new federal sex crime charges, including sex trafficking, found their way into public consciousness. He has pleaded not guilty and maintains his innocence.

The Rolling Loud hip hop festival will make its way to the Big Apple in October. Per the festival's social media pages, Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky, Meek Mill, Lil Uzi Vert and the Wu-Tang Clan will reportedly headline the two day event.

Aside from the aforementioned artists, DMX, Fat Joe, Megan Thee Stallion, Rico Nasty, Young M.A., YG, DaBaby, and many many more will take to the stage at Citi Field from Oct. 12 to 13. Tickets are slated to go on sale via Ticketmaster on Friday (Jul. 26) at 10 a.m. EST.

The news comes on the third week of A$AP Rocky's incarceration. The A$AP Mob member and Harlem native was reportedly arrested in Sweden for allegedly assaulting a person on the street. Donald Trump, thanks to urging from Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, is attempting to help free the rapper, however, it was reported earlier today (Jul. 22) that his efforts may make matters worse for A$AP.
