Machine Gun Kelly Ends Year With Bang, Fires Last Shot At Eminem
Machine Gun Kelly is ready to end this year with a bang. After unleashing a war on Eminem in Sept. 2018, MGK is firing one last shot to seal the deal. The rapper shared a video on Instagram on Sunday (Dec. 30), toying with his opponent.
In the video, MGK appears to be listening to a snippet of "Rap Devil," his first diss track aimed at the Detroit native. In the caption, MGK took another jab at Em. "Just to piss y’all off one more time before the years over. y’all still BIG mad. f**k rap god im the rap devil goodbye 2018," he wrote.
Machine Gun's latest video reignites an otherwise extinguished rap beef between the two. As previously reported, MGK took aim at Eminem with the September release of "Rap Devil." The song was in response to Em's surprise attack on several artists on his single "Not Alike," which was featured on the 2018 album Kamikaze that dropped days earlier. On the track, MGK questioned Shady's status in the current climate of rap and also made fun of his style.
"Still can't cover up the fact Your last four albums is as bad as your selfie / Now tell me, what do you stand for? (What?) / I know you can't stand yourself (No)/ Tryin' to be the old you so bad you Stan yourself (Ha)," he raps.
Eminem later hit back with another diss track, "Killshot," which directly attacked Machine Gun.
"This mothaf**kin' shit is like Rambo when he's out of bullets / So what good is a f**kin' machine gun when it's out of ammo?/ Had enough of this tatted-up mumble rapper / How the f**k can him and I battle," he spits. "
With less than 24 hours left of Dec. 2018, we'll have to see if this is one rap beef that will reemerge in 2019. In the meantime, check out Machine Gun Kelly's video below.
