SZA Has New Music On The Way
"Riding w new thoughts."
Good news, SZA fans. The singer may be gearing up to drop new music soon. SZA took to Instagram on Tuesday (Dec. 4), where she shared a snippet of a new song. We didn't get to hear too much of it, but we're definitely hoping she drops it ASAP.
The First Lady of TDE teased the new track in a video of her seemingly riding around in a car. The single features sultry vocals that flex her unique range. It's also paired with a very mellow instrumental background. "Riding w new thoughts," she wrote in the caption.

It's unclear if the release will be her next single, or whether she is foreshadowing a new project of some sort. It's been quite a while since we've got any new tunes from the R&B singer. While she worked on Black Panther: The Album in Feb. 2018, her last solo album, CTRL, came out in 2017.
In other news however, the new music snippet come shortly after Billboard shared a video for its upcoming 2018 Women in Music event. In the video, SZA shared the advice she would give to her younger self.
"If I could give my younger self any advice, it would probably be to trust yourself—or not try so hard to fit in," she said. "I was so different that I think trying to fit in at all was so obviously painful. ... I was definitely designed to experience life the way I was supposed to experience it."
SZA is set to receive the Rulebreaker Award at Billboard's Women in Music event, which will be held in New York City on Dec. 6. In the meantime, check out the new snippet in the video above.
