Quavo Invites Clemson Tigers To QC Headquarters After White House Debacle

"I wanna show Clemson Tigers and POTUS how champs are supposed to be treated."

The Internet has been dragging Donald Trump and the White House after they treated College Football National Champions, the Clemson Tigers to Burger King and McDonald's during their visit to the nation's capital. In the midst of their failed visit, Quavo has extended an invitation to the football team to visit the Quality Control headquarters, and he's assured them that they will be treated to far more than fast food.

"I wanna show Clemson Tigers and POTUS how champs are supposed to be treated," Huncho tweeted on Tuesday (Jan. 15). "Y'all welcome to come by the QC headquarters anytime. Dabbin' Dabo still #GODAWGS. The Stir Fry Way."

As previously reported, the Clemson University football team visited the White House after beating the Alabama Crimson Tide in the 2019 College Football Playoff National Championship on Jan. 7. It's customary for the championship team to visit Washington, where they are usually treated to a catered dinner by the White House kitchen staff. Only under Trump's administration, the team was given an assortment of burgers and fries.

Following the backlash on social media, Trump and his team blamed the Democratic Party. "Because the Democrats refuse to negotiate on border security, much of the residence staff at the White House is furloughed — so the president is personally paying for the event to be catered with some of everyone’s favorite fast foods,” Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement.

After that lackluster meal, Clemson might want to take QC up on that offer. Check out Quavo's message to the Tigers on Twitter below.

Michael Jai White Expresses Concern Over Possible ‘Spawn’ Reboot

After playing Spawn in the 1997 film of the same name, actor Michael Jai White has expressed hesitancy over the movie’s reported reboot. According to ComicBook.com, White recognized the character’s creator and artist Todd McFarlane on his pursuit of getting the film off the ground, but he’s unsure as to what impact Spawn will have.

"I don't know anything about it. He's been talking about a reboot of Spawn for 20 years," White said. "I think he will continue talking about it, because people listen. I don't understand it, personally. I wish him the best of luck. But, Todd explained to me that this will be a character that you didn't see. You never see the character. It's just a character that's scarcely on film. Personally, I don't get it.”

Spawn, formerly known as Al Simmons (an assassin who was killed and sent to Hell), was commissioned by the underworld’s lord to lead Hell’s army in a battle against Heaven in exchange for seeing his wife and child again. The plot takes several turns depicting a series of deceitful actions, betrayal, and revenge.

A possible Spawn reboot adds to this year's steady reveal of films from the '90s and 2000s receiving the remake treatment. So far, Aladdin, Charlie's Angels, and The Lion King plus more have been reimagined. Earlier this year, New Jack City, The Little Mermaid, Clueless, The Matrix, and Set It Off stoked claims of being remade as well.

The news site also claims Spawn recently became comic publishing’s “longest-running independent comic.”

Andre Emmett: Two Suspects Face Capital Murder Charges In Connection To BIG3 Player’s Death

Nearly a month after former BIG3 player Andre Emmett was fatally shot, Dallas police have identified and arrested two suspects in connection to the attempted robbery. According to The Dallas Morning News, Keith Ladon Johnson, 37, and Michael Lucky, 29, were charged with capital murder. Johnson’s bail has been set at $500,000 while Lucky’s has yet to be determined.

On Sept. 23, Emmett was stationed in his Land Rover outside of his home in Old East Dallas, Texas around 2:15 in the morning. That’s when two people approached the vehicle aiming to rob the former NBA player. After Emmett attempted to flee the situation on foot after an altercation took place, one of the suspects aimed a handgun in his direction and proceeded to shoot and kill the 32-year-old.

Emmett was taken to a hospital after a passer-by took notice and phoned 911. He died at the medical facility, survived by two toddler daughters. “His girls were and are his life,” his sister, Sasha Emmett, said per NBC-DFW. “They don’t really know what’s going on, but they were with him all the time and he’s going to be absent in their life now.”

Chris Beard, who was an assistant to Emmett’s coach during his tenure at Texas Tech University, revealed the pro-athlete launched the Dreams Really Exist Foundation for children in his Dallas hometown. Emmett’s pro-basketball career allowed him to suit up for his first NBA team, Seattle SuperSonics in 2004, to the Memphis Grizzlies, then the New Jersey Nets.

Minaj and Petty have been friends since they were kids, aiding in the former's comments on being close friends with the fellow New Yorker before they became serious. Earlier this year, Minaj also revealed she obtained a marriage license. The award-winning artist has remained open about her plans to begin a family and even announced in September her retirement to focus on the next chapter of her life.

In an interview with The Shade Room, Minaj revisited her decision to publicize her retirement and noted it mainly concerned her fifth studio album. "When I posted that retirement tweet, I knew that I still had music that I already had recorded that was still going to come out, so the retirement was kind of talking about my album, meaning 'do I want to go back and record my fifth album?'" she noted. "I always get asked to do features and I like features. So it was really about the fifth album."

You know when you’re a little girl and you want this big beautiful wedding, and I used to think I was one of those girls, I always wanted the fairytale. But then the things that used to matter to you don’t matter as much because I remember wanting those things with people, where real love wasn’t there. So now I feel like now that everything has finally lined up and matched up being that I’m madly in love with this man, he’s also my best friend, the things that used to matter to me before, don’t matter as much now. So yes, we’re going to have a big wedding eventually.” She also expressed how deeply in love she is right now, and the importance of——click the link in the bio to read more at TheShadeRoom.com
