R. Kelly's Brother's Rap Sheet Includes Burglary, Drug Possession And More

Kelly's kin is currently serving a two to four-year sentence for burglary.

Lifetime's new docu-series, Surviving R. Kelly premiered on Jan. 3. While many are discussing the serious allegations of abuse against the R&B singer, several people are talking about Kelly's older brother, Bruce Kelly, who appeared on the series premiere.

In the first episode, Bruce appeared to conduct his interviews about his brother from prison. According to his Chicago arrest records, Bruce Kelly has been locked up for a series of charges including burglary, probation violation, drug possession, and more.

As of 2019, Kelly's most recent charge stems from a burglary that occurred in 2016. He was admitted into the Vandalia Correctional Center in July 2017. He was reportedly sentenced to two to four years in prison and is expected to be discharged in Dec. 2019.

Previous charges date back to 2015, when he was arrested and charged for drug possession. He was also charged with theft and possession in Oct. 2016, and criminal trespassing and driving without a license in June 2017.

Bruce Kelly's rap sheet became the topic of discussion after his commentary that was seemingly in defense of his brother's sexual history with underage girls. He seemed to suggest his brother's alleged obsession with girls under the age of 18 years old was simply a preference rather than a problem.

Surviving R. Kelly continues tomorrow (Jan. 4), at 9/8C.

Lori Harvey Laughs At Rumors That She's Engaged To Diddy

Someone started a rumor on Al Gore’s Internet that 22-year-old Lori Harvey was engaged to music mogul Diddy, and as ridiculous as it sounds, people ran with it.

Harvey took to her Instagram Stories to laugh off the speculation, stating that she’s not engaged, and that people should stop believing blogs. Previously, Harvey was linked to Justin Combs, one of Diddy’s sons.

Steve Harvey’s stepdaughter was spotted at a Ciroc party over the weekend with a giant ring on her finger. In a photo shared to her IG, she wrote that she was “somebody’s wife.” The two have been a rumored item since March. This rumor comes just a week after Diddy’s ex, Cassie, announced that she was expecting her first child with her new beau, Alex Fine.

“You two are my greatest loves I have and will ever have,” Fine wrote on Instagram Jun. 13 accompanying a photo of himself and his lady love. “I cannot wait for the rest of our lives together and to raise a beautiful happy child in our beautiful happy life.”

Diddy congratulated the two on his own Instagram, which was met with a lukewarm response.

Own Some History: Tupac's 1995 Prison ID Card Is Headed To Auction

For a starting figure of $2,000, you can be the proud new owner of Tupac Shakur’s prison I.D.  from his infamous stint at the Clinton Correctional Facility in 1995.

Per TMZ, Heritage Auctions received the late rapper’s I.D. for when he was sentenced at the N.Y. facility in connection to the sexual abuse of a then-19-year-old woman. The starting bid begins at $2,000.

“[Tupac] was required to carry this laminated I.D. card at all times,” writes the site. “Pac started his sentence on Valentine's Day, and 2 weeks later he was issued this prison I.D. -- which includes his signature.”

This wouldn’t be the first piece of Tupac memorabilia to go to auction. Earlier this year, a wealthy 60-year-old man became the new owner of a piece of erotic artwork drawn by Tupac while incarcerated. The image was of him having sex with his then-girlfriend, and it sold for $21,155.75.

“In April 2018, it was reported that the breakup letter form Tupac to former flame Madonna would be up for auction via the GottaHaveRockAndRoll auction house, in addition to other items from Tupac's personal life such as satin underwear and intimate photographs,” VIBE reported in February.
