Toni Braxton Denies Rumors That She And Birdman Have Broken Up

They're good!

Earlier this year, it was rumored that Toni Braxton and her fiancee Birdman broke off their engagement after a series of cryptic Instagram posts. However, just a week later, the Cash Money head honcho posted a photo of himself and his lady love with the caption ‘4LiFE.” It appears that we weren’t the only ones perplexed as to what was going on.

Braxton spoke to Entertainment Tonight about her relationship during her appearance on the Braxton Family Values red carpet.

"We don't know what happened," Braxton said of the breakup rumors. “It just kind of [came out of nowhere]. Someone said it and we were like, 'OK, we'll just ride with it because it'll give us some privacy. So that's good. But we're good."

Braxton and Birdman reportedly got engaged in 2017, and the confirmation was seen in a trailer for her show, Braxton Family Values, where she shows off her giant, canary-colored ring. She panicked after losing her ring on a Delta Airlines flight in late-2018.

During an interview with Wendy Williams, Birdman called Braxton his “everything.” “[Toni is] my girl, my friend, my family,” he said. “That’s my love, my soldier, my life… She my life. I love her to death.”

Black Woman Awarded $100,000 Settlement Over 'Blue Lives Matter' Complaint

A woman from Oregon was awarded a $100,000 settlement after complaining about harassment regarding a “Blue Lives Matter” flag in her office.

In her suit, Karimah Guion-Pledgure said that her workplace environment became “hostile” after a “Blue Lives Matter” flag was pinned up in her office. Guion-Pledgure– who works as a corrections technician– sued Multnomah County after months of what she called “racial harassment” that “demeans” the Black Lives Matter movement. She also says that the harassment and tension she experienced in the workplace led to issues with stress and health problems.

Guion-Pledgure began complaining about the flag in September 2017, after a probation worker in her office pinned it above his desk. To counter the flag, she created an “equity wall” in 2018, which featured photos of people of color who have been killed by police, as well as photos of children who were separated by their parents at the U.S.-Mexico border.

“A copy of the lawsuit obtained by the Daily News said the Blue Lives Matter movement 'co-opts' the Black Lives Matter movement’s slogan and repurposes it to shift focus from black lives to law enforcement, which is ‘a chosen profession, not a racial identity,’” reports the New York Daily News.

As part of her settlement Ms. Guion-Pledgure had to resign from her job this past Friday (April 19).

Kid Cudi Buys $10,000 Worth Of Popeyes To Give To The Homeless

Kid Cudi reportedly spent $10,000 on Postmates while in Indio, Calif. for the second weekend of Coachella, where he accompanied collaborator and friend Kanye West during his highly-anticipated Sunday Service. However, the lofty price tag for food was for a great cause.

According to TMZ, the Kids See Ghost musician bought Popeyes chicken, biscuits, mashed potatoes and fries to the homeless community in the area through the Coachella Valley Homeless Commission.

"The delivery service dropped off a carload of food to the shelter, which serves hundreds of homeless people in Indio," writes the gossip site, "and they all got a nice hot meal this weekend thanks to Cudi's generosity." In a video of the good deed unfolding, dozens of boxes of Popeyes are unveiled in the trunk of a car. In another shot, plates full of meals are placed on a counter for delivery.

Other than his super sweet deed, Cudi worked with Postmates to curate a munchies-friendly menu, which will be available until May 25 in San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Miami.

"Just open your Postmates app or visit Postmates.com, select the Munchies Menu and order from the restaurant in your market," the site reads.

Beyonce Trolls Fans By Releasing Tongue-In-Cheek 'Formation' Tour Merch

While Beyonce was able to whet the Beyhive’s insatiable appetites with the Homecoming documentary chronicling her highly-favored Coachella performance, it looks like they’re still hungry for more.

It’s been nearly three full years since Bey embarked on the Formation World Tour, and fans have demanded concert footage of the show for virtually the entirety of those three years, to no avail. On the merch section of her website, new apparel advertising the Formation World Tour is available for purchase, and it’s delightfully petty.

Shirts adorned with “Where Is The FWT DVD?” is written all over the shirt, much to the chagrin of those who are eager to know the answer to that question. They are sold in white, gray, pink and light green, and go for $40 a pop.

Fear not, fans. There could be an answer about the footage's whereabouts sooner rather than later. As we reported, Bey signed a $60 million deal with Netflix, which will reportedly distribute three projects with the superstar. Two of those projects are carefully under wraps, but with the anniversary of the Formation World Tour’s start around the corner (April 27), we’d recommend you to stay on your toes.

Lemonade, the album accompanying the FWT, will be released to streaming services outside of Tidal on April 23, the third-anniversary of the album’s release.
