The summer kicked off with a bang in hip-hop as Kanye West, J. Cole and Mac Miller released their new albums simultaneously on Tuesday, June 18.

All three artists had their own unique roll-out process: Kanye displayed his work on buildings all over the world. Mac Miller connected with his fans personally through his Vine account, and J. Cole toured the country, charging fans nothing but a dollar and a dream.

Billboard was quick to the put the (projected) numbers for first week sales on the board for Yeezus, Born Sinner and Watching Movies With The Sound Off as follows:

Kanye West – 360,000-380,000
J. Cole – 270,000 to 290,000
Mac Miller – 100,000

Official numbers set to drop next week.—Anthony Centeno
