On NME's latest magazine cover, Jay-Z is crowned the King of Pop Culture. We've watched him climb his way to the throne and rule over the entire musical kingdom, but the success surrounding his recent effort Magna Carta Holy Grail has been recognized as a game-changer the world over.

For the cover story, legendary rocker Michael Stipe of REM spoke to the publication to discuss his reaction to Hov using the band's "Losing My Religion" on his MCHG track "Heaven." Stipe tells the mag, "I've known Jay for a long time, he's super cool, super grounded, super smart and super talented." Tinie Tempah, Rita Ora and Wiley also appear in the feature.
