Earlier this week, VIBE was on-hand for the red carpet festivities involving Peter Segal's Grudge Match boxing pic. Thankfully, we got some time with the director and Sylvester Stallone.

The film, which is in theaters on Christmas Day, finds Kevin Hart as a boxing promoter who attempts to get two aging fighters into the ring for one last match.

Sylvester Stallone and Robert De Niro play the two grumpy old boxers and we got a chance to see them in action on the red carpet at New York City's Zeigfeld Theater.

Grudge Match heavily borrows from the screen legends previous boxing endeavors — particularly Stallone, whose role as Henry "Razor" Sharp works out in a meat locker, just like Rocky.

Watch below as Sylvester Stallone admits his trepidation of doing the film, alongside director Peter Segal.
