Actor Joe Manganiello let loose this tidbit of information that the sequel to the popular male stripper movie will start filming later this year.

The Playlist was able to get the scoop on the film's title: "Magic Mike XXL." So, that means ladies should stack up those dollars and keep them on deck for when the film hits theaters sometime next year.

"It's gonna happen this fall," Manganiello said. "I think they're going to announce it soon. It's crazy. I didn't think that would be my first franchise. I never thought that would ever be the direction of my career. But that said, it's just proof that I don't know best, all the time. It was the most fun I've ever had, and I can't wait to get back in and mix it up with those guys."

While there was speculation that Channing Tatum would make the sequel his directorial debut, but it seems that that will not be so. Greg Jacobs, who worked on Ocean's Eleven, is tasked with the job to helm the project.

Tatum is still writing the script and recently shared a photo of himself hard at work.

Interestingly enough, there's still no word yet as to whether the first movie's stars (Matthew McConaughey, Alex Pettyfer, and Matt Bomer) will return. But, according to Tatum's description, it will involve the boys hitting the road performing for lovelorn ladies.
