Decades after first putting on the gloves to play Rocky Balboa, Sylvester Stallone earned his first Golden Globe as best supporting actor in the 2015 blockbuster film, Creed.

And while visibly stunned by the honor, the 69-year-old thanked the Hollywood Foreign Press, his wife, children, the film's producers and even Rocky Balboa himself. The two people Stallone didn't thank was the film's director Ryan Coogler and star, Michael B. Jordan.

Selma director Ava DuVernay didn't appreciate the slight, whether unintentional or not, and took to Twitter to voice her frustration.

Realizing his error, it was later reported Stallone thanked Coogler, Jordan and Tessa Thompson for their work.
