Sylvester Stallone recently capped a triumphant return to the silver screen after he won the Golden Globes award for Best Supporting Actor for Creed. But during his acceptance speech, he forgot to thank a couple of the film's leaders, namely director Ryan Coogler and lead actor Michael B. Jordan.

The vocal misstep led people to call out the Rambo star, which recently included fellow actor and award-winner Samuel L. Jackson. "#waitwaitwait, Ryan Coogler & Michael B. Jordan, Thanks for acting with me!!! Loved Sly but..." Jackson wrote on Twitter.

Now, Stallone has taken to his social media account as well to share a statement on the matter. "Samuel Jackson is upset that I foolishly forgot to mention the brilliant Ryan Coogler and MB Jordan he is right I owe them everything."

Reports also stated that following a commercial break during the award show (Jan. 10), Stallone returned to the stage to send his gratitude to Coolger and Jordan.
