President Barack Obama and J.Cole crossed paths recently at the Democratic National Committee fundraising event, where the leader of the free world announced his support of the Fayetteville native.
In a video captured by a Cole fan page, Obama is heard saying, "I love J. Cole," and proceeds to share the story of how he was first introduced to the "Power Trip" rapper, who was the headliner for the event. "This is the benefit of having teenage daughters. I actually keep up," Obama says. "I got a chance to see J. Cole's mom and grandma."

Obama was recently in Austin, Texas for the SXSW festival where he gave a relatable address on America's tech space and recruiting more professionals to push the nation forward in that arena.
He called on those in attendance to “start coming up with new platforms, new ideas across disciplines and across skill sets to solve some of the big problems we’re facing today.”
