Katt Williams still remains on the wrong side of the law with this latest news. The famed comedian landed in an Atlanta jail on Wednesday (Apr. 27), after he was arrested for allegedly assaulting a restaurant manager with a salt shaker.

TMZ reports that Williams and a few people in his entourage went out for a meal at ATL's Spondivits eatery. When they arrived, they seated themselves as opposed to waiting for a table from the host. Once the manager notified Williams of this mishap, they reportedly landed in an argument.

The situation then escalated when Williams apparently threw a salt shaker at the manager, which bruised his lip. The 44-year-old was arrested for battery, but was released on bond early Thursday morning (Apr. 28).

This news follows Williams' viral altercation with a 17-year-old earlier this year. The actor engaged in a verbal match with the teen, named Luke Wash, during a soccer game. The exchange turned physical, leading authorities to charge both parties involved for disorderly conduct.
