Rapper Tru Life is a finally free man after serving over six years in prison. The new broke earlier this morning (Apr 26) after the New York City rapper made his presences known on social media.

Born Roberto Guzmán Rosado, Jr., Tru was originally sentenced to eight years for a fatal stabbing in 2011. At the time, the Lower East Side rapper spent some time signed to Jay Z’s short lived Roc La Familia record label, but eventually left — and was widely known for his rap feuds.

In the videos, Lizzy wastes no time boasting for the iPhone cameras as he proudly announces his return to the "streets."
