Young Thug is just trying to do right by his siblings.
A day after the rapper was scrutinized for his Chance The Rapper and Prince comparisons, he was seen giving his younger sister a car. Word on the web is that she wasn't the only one to receive an early Christmas present. The rapper reportedly bought all 10 of his siblings cars and homes because, love.
Thugger, born Jeffery Williams, previously opened up to Rolling Stone about his rough upbringing. Growing up with a single mother, the rapper lived in a housing project that was later demolished by the city.
He and his siblings later ran into trouble with the law multiple times, leading to the death of one of his brothers. His sisters Dorothea and Alexis Grier opened up to Complex about their strong bond earlier this year. "Our relationship was good, fun, stressful, and very complicated because the situation we had to go through [growing up with a single mom]," Dorothea said. "We always looked out for each other, and we’re still like that to this day. We’re very family oriented, so it was always fun. We stuck together and defend each other." The rapper in fact keeps his family pretty close since they make up his entourage and travel with him when he's on tour.
Thugger is definitely in the running for Brother of the Year.
