Comedian Katt Williams found himself in hot water with the law once again. The 43 year old comedian was arrested for suspicion of battery on a woman after a dispute inside a Studio City hotel on Sunday (July 24) reports say.
According to the Los Angeles Times, "Officers were called to the Sportsmen’s Lodge at Ventura Boulevard and Coldwater Canyon Avenue about 11 a.m. after a female employee reported being in an altercation with Williams," Los Angeles Police Sgt. Gary Chilingarian said.
The unidentified woman suffered a minor injury. Williams--who will celebrate his 44 birthday in September--has been charged on misdemeanor count of battery and is scheduled to appear in court August 18. He was released on $20,000 bail.
This is not Williams' first scuffle with the law, especially not this year. In 2016 alone, he was arrested for assaulting a restaurant manager with a salt shaker, he was videotaped fighting with a teenager that went viral on the 'Net, he was arrested for drug possession during a raid in his home and allegedly held five women at gunpoint and stole their phones.
Let's hope that Katt can combat some of these demons before it's too late.
