On a smoldering July afternoon, the 14th floor at the Beverly Hills Four Seasons Hotel is bustling with a slew of managers, publicists and journalists all gearing up for the Kubo and the Two Strings' press junket.

Tucked away in the back hallway beside the press room, Matthew McConaughey (Beetle) and Charlize Theron (Monkey) sit tight as the media circulates its way to their small confines to discuss their new animated film. On the opposite end, Travis Knight, the film's director, is holding court in his camera room, along with Art Parkinson (Kubo) on the other side. In an instant, the media rush begins and VIBE is quickly swept into the action.
