Two legendary New York rappers made an appearance at Rucker Park earlier this month (Aug 4) to promote the release of the Allen Iverson x Reebok Question "EBC" and the "A5" presented by Footaction.
Jadakiss and Cam'ron were on hand to coach b-ball teams against each other at the legendary court in Harlem. VIBE was on site and caught up with EBC director Greg Marius, Sway Calloway and Cam'ron to reminisce on some Rucker Park memories.
Killa Cam's squad featured Ron Artest, rocked the Reebok "EBC", which commemorated the 20th anniversary of Allen Iverson gracing Holcombe Rucker Park with his presence shortly after being drafted in 1996. A.I. teamed up with Coney Island native Stephon Marbury, to suit up for Puff Daddy's squad and form the best backcourt ever seen at Rucker --according to EBC (Entertainer's Basketball Classic) creator, Greg Marius. Some sizes are still available on Reebok.com for the exclusive kicks that released on August 5th.
Jada's team was laced up in the Reebok A5, which was designed by the Yonkers native himself and inspired by the Reebok commercials he did back in the day with Iverson. You can purchase a pair for yourself right now here.
