Vic Mensa is on a mission with his newfound sobriety: he wants to shut rap down.

Along with his mental coffer of slick talk, ridiculously nasty, and hard-hitting metaphors, the Chi-Town native doesn't mince his pen when rapping about injustices that plague the black community on his latest joint.

Just a couple days after being racially profiled, accused of stealing and then being detained by police after splurging $4,000 at Barney's, Vic decided to hit the studio with Purp to unload rounds of fire with "773 Freestyle."

Over a highly-octane instrumental, the two emcees go back and forth -- the way that Styles P and Jadakiss do -- for some hip-hop sparring and refreshing entertainment catered toward hip-hop lovers.

Vic recently announced that his forthcoming album, Traffic is 75 percent done. If you haven't yet, check out latest effort, There's A Lot Going On.

And spin "773 Freestyle" below.
