R&B singer NAO will be dropping a collaborative EP featuring The Internet this spring titled NAO X.

The UK songbird (real name Neo Jessica Joshua) revealed to FADER during the BRIT Awards that she instantly "clicked" with The Internet's front woman Syd, and that she's looking forward to the project.

"I’m working on an EP called NAO X, which is about collaboration," she said. "Hopefully that’ll be out in the spring, or a bit after. I already have one with The Internet. I was in L.A. last year before my tour, and they came through to the studio. We sat down and joked for ages and then just started writing music. [With Syd] we’re singing to each other in the song…It just felt like two girls hanging out."

While NAO isn't able to reveal much about her forthcoming EP, she's looking forward to "exploring" what happens when spring comes. NAO X serves as the follow-up to her critically-acclaimed 2016 debut album, For All We Know. She also gifted fans with a remix EP of the album featuring KAYTRANADA and Stormzy.
