XXXtentacion was sent to jail Friday morning (Dec 15) with seven new felony charges stacked up against him. Since 2016, the Broward rapper has been under investigation for a brutal domestic violence case involving his pregnant, ex-girlfriend. Recently, X filed documents from the alleged victim which confirmed that she no longer wanted to him to be prosecuted. However, according to TMZ, the prosecutors involved with the case apparently didn't buy the signed statement.

Earlier today, he judge at X's hearing at the Miami-Dade County courthouse claimed the rookie rapper violated the terms of his bond from his original arrest in 2016. He was instantly sent to jail and is currently being held without bail.

Prosecutors have slapped seven new charges on XXXtentacion, including various degrees of witness tampering and witness harassment. They believe X had coerced his ex-girlfriend into signing the statement in an effort to drop the case.

XXXTentacion will most likely be in jail until his trial. If convicted, he faces "decades in prison" at minimum. Given the troubling updates in his own legal situation, it's clear that his plans to sue the Migos for allegedly jumping him last month will be put on hold.
