After two electrifying sets at Coachella and promoting the successful reception of her debut album, Invasion of Privacy, Cardi B will finally get to kick her feet up this summer. The expecting mother announced the cancellation of her forthcoming tour dates via social media due to her pregnancy.
If you want a live experience of the Bronx native's tunes, then Broccoli City Festival (Apr. 28) will be your last chance before she takes it easy. During her break, the 25-year-old entertainer assured fans that she's still refining her craft and new music is currently being pieced together.
"Okay so I might be off from doing performances for a couple of months but in the meantime imma be working my a** off," she wrote on Twitter. "So many songs, features to do. Working on a lot of deals I sign up for and most importantly nesting. I'm already overwhelmed from the new work."
During her first Saturday Night Live performance at the top of April, the "Drip" rapper surprisingly revealed her pregnancy to the masses. She's expecting her first child with Migos' member, Offset. According to TMZ, Cardi may give birth in July.
