The five song effort only features newcomer Gunna and production is handled by Southside. Last year was a big year for the freshman rapper--he released four mixtapes, Harder than Hard, Perfect Timing, 2 the Hard Way and Too Hard.
The 23 year old's rap career started after he was urged to embark on a rap career by Pierre "Pee" Thomas, co-founder of Quality Control. After coming home in 2017 from a two year prison bid for probation violation, the rapper born Dominique Jones released Perfect Timing of April that same year. Lil Baby hasn't looked back since.
In related QC news, in December the label released a 30-song compilation project titled, Quality Control Presents: Control The Streets Volume 1. The effort features the entire QC roster as well as Nicki Minaj, Ty Dolla $ign, Kodak Black and others.
