Quavo's August is off to quite the start. The rapper, who we know is 1/3 of the Migos, released three new songs on Friday (Aug. 10), and each have a different vibe to give to his fans who are always eager for a Quavo-induced turn-up.
The first, "Lamb Talk," is a bit more muted in production, however, the ASCAP Songwriter Of The Year provides high-octane raps that's sure to get the people hype. The next, "Workin' Me," features a catchy hook and a familiar Migos-esque flair in Quavo's cadence and in the production. "Bubblegum," is perhaps the most mellow of the three, featuring a faded trap beat as the rapper muses about an intoxicating woman.
Yesterday afternoon (Aug. 9), Quavo took to Twitter to tease the tracks, and a quote tweet from Murda Beatz suggests that he had a hand in creating the songs.
“Droppin new drop tonight, yessiirr," he wrote. "Tonight all platforms," he typed in all caps accompanying a tease he had created for the three songs. The songs come a few weeks after Quavo accompanied Chance The Rapper and Justin Bieber on the DJ Khaled track "No Brainer."
