Amber Corrine M. is a New Jersey born and bred multifaceted creative and staff news writer for the iconic VIBE magazine. Ahead of joining the #VIBEtribe, Amber attended Kean University where she obtained her Bachelors in English Writing and Masters Degree in Communication & Media Studies. Along the way, she took a backseat to her R&B singer dreams and began freelancing for notable media outlets like HipHopDX, HipHopSInce1987, theGrio and Hot 97’s The MVMT to name a few. Fortunately, she has also had the opportunity to cover major events like the Oscars, NAACP Image Awards, BET Awards and more. Outside of writing about entertainment and attending the dopest events, Amber enjoys a good movie paired with good food, shopping online, and spending time with family and friends.
