As the Internet showered in ice water last week, 50 Cent
bullied challenged Floyd Mayweather to an “ESL Challenge”, revealing the boxer’s struggle with reading. (This Breakfast Club audio didn’t help, either.)
While Fif recently told XXL that he has nothing but love for Floydy, it didn’t stop him from trolling the Money Team leader again on Instagram. 50 Cent posted a faux letter to Tiny from Floyd, written with the literacy of a kindergartener, poking fun at the alleged affair between Mayweather and T.I.’s wife last month.
He added the caption, “@floydmayweather love you like a brother. Call fanny, and tawana your sister’s love your crazy ass.check on Devon you are forgetting the people who matter boy. If you want to fight I’ll be in Vegas next week.”
The Queens rapper sang a different tune during an an interview on Tuesday (Aug. 26) with Power 105’s Angie Martinez, defending the boxer’s reading ability. “Champ could read, he could read,” he said. “I don’t want to hurt him, Ang, but he does things that agitates me. He does things to aggravate me a little bit. I look at him like he my little brother too, like my younger brother but he’ll pick at me like, You ain’t bigger than me.”
50 also mentioned that hopping into the ring with Mayweather wasn’t an option. “He’s one of the best fighters in our actual time,” he added. “I never try to discredit what he’s worked for.”
Mayweather recently responded to the harsh criticism the only way he knows how: money talk. After sharing a pic of his millions on the ‘gram, he wrote this simple message, “Read this $72,276,000.00. God bless.”
