Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao were in the same arena, but not for the reason we all want them to be.
Both fighters were courtside for the Miami Heat vs. Milwaukee Buck game at the American Airlines Arena last night (Jan. 27). Seated opposite from each other on the sideline, Mayweather and Pacquiao came face-to-face during halftime, where they had a brief exchange. The Filipino welterweight champ remarked that it was his first time meeting the leader of The Money Team.
“He gave his number to me and said we will communicate with each other,” Pacquiao told the Associated Press.

The number exchange was allegedly to discuss their highly-anticipated boxing match. Pacquiao recently agreed to terms for the prospective fight, including drug testing and designated gloves. Mayweather, however, has not signed on any dotted lines though he was the first to propose a May 2 date for the bout.
