Chicago’s G-Herbo is currently focused on making sure his rap career soars to the top of the Billboard charts. But there’s more to the young man than society wants you to believe. He recently told VIBE some of his lofty plans for the future.
The 20-year-old rapper recently partnered up with New York City’s Cinematic Music Group to help bring more opportunities into his life. Though, Herbo still remains as the boss of his own production company, 150 Dream Team.
However, his longtime term goals are simply bigger than hip-hop. After he stacks up a few platinum plaques and conquers a few world tours, the Windy City rapper dreams of one day owning his old neighborhood in Chicago.
“As far as my longtime goals, I want to see myself owning my old neighborhood,” G-Herbo tells VIBE. “I want to own my neighborhood and create opportunities for my family, my homies and the shorties in my neighborhood. I want to show them there’s more than what’s going on in the city. [I want] leave my mark”
Herbo is currently on the road with Pusha T on his Darkest Before Dawn tour.
