Despite the state of unrest in Ferguson, Missouri, over the past week, many can pay their respects to Michael Brown at his funeral on Monday. Brown was 18 years old when he was fatally shot by St. Louis police officer Darren Wilson Aug. 9, as a suspect in an attempted robbery. He was unarmed, according to officials. The service handled by Austin A. Layne Mortuary, will be held on Monday (Aug. 25) at 10am at the Friendly Temple Missionary Baptist Church, the Associated Press reports. Rev. Charles Ewing, Brown’s uncle, will deliver the eulogy. Rev. Al Sharpton is also set to speak.
