Miley Cyrus switched her title from singer to visual artist on Wednesday (Sept. 10) for the opening of her art installation, “Dirty Hippie.”
“My fans made all this shit so I just added it all together,” Cyrus tells guest 2 Chainz in a Vine video.
The trippy but trendy collection of accessories made their public debut by way of Jeremy Scott’s 2015 Spring collection shown at New York Fashion Week. After the show, VIP guests made their way to Milk studio to observe the exhibit. Among the guests were Kris Jenner and Kendall Jenner.
In her recent interview with V Magazine, she expands on her inspiration for the installation and thanked Scott for giving her art collection a platform. “Jeremy brought a lot of peace and self worth to me because even though to some people, it was just me gluing some things together, to me, it made me not a fucking pop star dumbass. And that’s my goal in my life to not die a pop pop dumb dumb.”
