Nicki Minaj’s alma mater don’t want none. The rapper took to Twitter, claiming that the principal of her school, Fiorello H. LaGuardia, turned down her invitation to speak to the students. “I wanted to go back to my HS and speak to the students but the new principal declined,” she wrote. “No need for me to inspire them, I guess. Smh.” The Queens native has praised the school of performing arts in the past, telling Teen Vogue, “It was the first time I felt like I really fit in. Everyone there was creative. For once, I didn’t feel like there was something weird about me.” According to the New York Daily News, New York City’s Department of Education is looking into Minaj’s accusations. That school changed my life and I wanted to pay it forward to the students there now. I was really looking forward to it.
