Drake swapped his ’90s-themed garb and fluffy sweaters for more form-fitting attire at the NBA’s Toronto Raptors’ press conference Monday (Sept. 30). The Canadian rap star, who recently adorned shelves with sky blue wallpaper with last week’s release Nothing Was The Same, was named the team’s Global Ambassador.
“I have to say I’m truly honored to be up here with these distinguished gentlemen,” he told the media before addressing his wardrobe, which, for once, was not memeable. “There are two things I’m extremely proud of: my city and my family … Being up here reminds me of two things actually: that I have a new family and that I have to go to Harry Rosen to get more neutral suits ’cause the vibrant blues at press conferences aren’t going to cut it anymore.”
Drizzy went on to praise to the Raptors and express his excitement for Toronto hosting the NBA All-Star Games in 2016.
