Chief Keef’s “Faneto” has taken on a new meaning when it was the soundtrack to a floor collapse at fraternity party over the weekend.
The now-viral video showing the clubhouse floor collapsing happened early Sunday (Oct. 21) during Homecoming festivities at Clemson University. While the party was off campus, the event was hosted by Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity. Since Kappas are now into drill classics, the crowd intensified as the song started. With no thanks to the drill gods, the floor fell apart, injuring 29 and leaving six people in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, ABC News reports.
“By the time I had put one foot out the door, I felt that something was weird and that’s when everyone just collapsed and the guy behind me disappeared,” witness Raven Guerra told ABC News. “Everyone was on the floor and people were screaming and there was wood sticking up from the floorboards.”
Adhering to room capacities would’ve helped the students have a fun and maybe a safe party, but some tunes are just too good to enjoy around 15 people. There’s plenty of other songs that will more than likely leave a hole at another homecoming party floor so please be sure to
not play them at ignorant levels.
