Hip-hop heavyweights Nicki Minaj and Cardi B have been embroiled in a beef for quite some time, and it came to a head yesterday (Oct. 30) after Cardi B dropped receipts in a lengthy rant against the Head Barb In Charge.
In 11 separate videos posted to Instagram, she discussed everything from Minaj endorsing “nasty a** f**kin’ behavior” on Twitter, claiming Cardi’s use of “sympathy and payola” is how she’s built a career, and much more.
“I should sue you for defamation of character since you wanna claim that I am using something illegal called payola because you don’t understand why I am so f**king successful,” Cardi said. “Why is it that when people want to listen to me, you cannot believe it, that I gotta be cheating for that…how could I possibly use payola?”
While both musicians amicably (?) agreed to stop the petty nonsense, the rant captured headlines and was one for the books. This wouldn’t be the first time hip-hoppers have made headlines for spirited tirades against their haters.

7. Kanye West On “Sway In The Morning”
In 2013, Kanye West made a visit to Sway Calloway’s Sirius XM show Sway In The Morning, where he responded to the host’s comments about his past attempts of breaking into fashion. Visibly agitated, West takes jabs at Sway’s previous attempts at creating his own fashion line and states that he’s trying to maintain relevancy.
Key lines: “I am Warhol. I am the number one most impactful artist of our generation. I am Shakespeare in the flesh.”

6. Nicki Minaj On Episode 4 Of “Queen Radio”
Nicki Minaj’s Beats 1 show Queen Radio is definitely a way to connect her to fans, play music and talk her sh*t. During the fourth episode, shortly after her fourth album Queen debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 charts, Minaj went at Travis Scott, critics, and many more throughout the show.
Key line: “You think Harriet Tubman was walkin’ around with a f**kin’ nice, shiny f**kin’ dress on, and a f**kin’ crown on her head when she was taking slaves to freedom?”
5. Trina Calls Out “Bum A** B**ches” On Instagram Live
We should all know by now that Ms. Trina is nothing to mess with. In a 2017 Instagram Live session, the Diamond Princess called out unidentified “jealous a**, mad a**, wack sad a**, bad body a**, nasty looking a** b**ches” for speaking ill on her name.
Key line: “If you call me a b**ch, make sure you put ‘baddest’ in front of it, wack a** h*es.”
4. Trick Daddy Threatens Person Via Facebook Live
Trick Daddy made many very uncomfortable after hopping on Facebook Live in 2016 to address someone (who is believed to be a woman) who wasn’t a fan of his.
Key line: “Tell that b***h to keep my name out your mouth, b***h…before I stick a pistol in your mouth.”
3. Omarion Not Pleased With Grammy’s Snub
In late-2015, Omarion went on a Twitter rant after it was announced that his hit song “Post To Be” wasn’t nominated for a Grammy award. The tweets are now deleted, but screenshots live forever.
Key lines: “This isn’t an ‘I’m upset” (post to be) rant. This is a- ok so that wasn’t good enough. I’ll be back. Have my Grammy’s ready… It’s my destiny. I was destined. Chosen.”
2. Kanye West Comes For Wiz Khalifa
A misunderstanding about the acronym “KK” (which stood for Khalifa Kush”) lead Kanye West into a Twitter rant against the Taylor Gang MC in 2016. Some of the since-deleted tweets pertained to how Wiz “stole his whole sh*t” from Kid Cudi, how his ex-wife Amber Rose “trapped” him with a child, and oddly enough… his “cool pants.”
Key lines: “4th you let a stripper trap you” … “I know you mad every time you look at your child that this girl got you for 18 years”
1. Amber Rose Comes For Kanye West
Amber Rose and her ex-husband Wiz Khalifa weren’t spared by Kanye West’s misunderstanding of what “KK” meant back in 2015. While Wiz kept his response to the Chicago rapper pretty tame, Amber Rose made sure to fire back at her ex-boyfriend in a much-meme’d Twitter response.
