The 17th annual Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC,) labeled by the New York Times as the “Sundance of Latin music,” is the only major conference that celebrates and supports versatile, non-mainstream genres of Latin music.
The LAMC is the largest Latin music conference in the United States. Its goal is to give young, bicultural Latinos the opportunity to define themselves. But the event won’t only be focusing on music. According to NALIP, the conference will also focus on all things food, film, books, art and poetry.
