On June 12, 49 innocent people—most of whom were of Latino descent and subscribed to the LGBTQ community—were killed at Pulse nightclub in Orlando all because of who they were.
Forty-nine celebrities gathered to keep their memories alive, and to ensure part of their legacy spurs action to end hate violence. Sofia Vergara, George Lopez, Angela Bassett, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Édgar Ramírez, Demi Lovato, Kid Cudi and Laverne Cox, among many others helped tell their stories—the life they lived, their aspirations and accomplishments, and even their special qualities and traits.
