Marked by their days in hip-hop yesteryear, underground pioneers The Beatnuts are getting ready to bring their brand of braggadocio to a venue near you. The Queens, New York duo of JuJu and Psycho Les will be joined by rappers Big Pooh (of Little Brother) and Termanology for a 20-city tour, this according to Okay Player. The mayhem commences in the Big Apple at S.O.B. on Jan. 3.
For the uninitiated, The Beatnuts have gone down in rap history for their work as singular beatmakers in the golden era of hip-hop, using Latin-influenced rhythms and unabashed, hardcore rhyming.
