
Beyoncé reveled in the ambience of classic art displayed at the Frida Kahlo exhibit in the New York Botanical Garden of the Bronx. The “7/11” singer took husband Jay Z and daughter Blue Ivy to witness the highly lauded Frida Kahlo: Art, Garden, Life exhibition and experience remnants of art by her favorite Mexican artist.

During their time at the historic landmark, the Carter family explored every corner of the gallery, from paintings inside to the beautiful Mexican foliage outside that recreates Frida’s Mexico City home, la Casa Azul. Beyoncé arrived at the exhibit wearing a black-and-white pant suit, much like Kahlo wore during her childhood.
Queen Bey first revealed her love for Kahlo when she transformed herself into the legendary feminist for Halloween last year. The Carters’ fascination with historic artists is no secret, as Jay Z also disguised himself as one of his favorites, Jean-Michel Basquiat.
