
The popular mobile game Pokémon Go, awakened the world’s love for the intergalactic pocket size monsters that reigned supreme in the ’90s. Remember, those Pikachu flashcards?
Now, the Pokémon craze has made its way to Guatemala City, where the biggest Pokémon convention in Central America, dubbed Poké-Con, will take place next week, according to Guatemala.com. Reportedly, an estimate of 2,000 people have already registered for the event, which will span from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
And there’s more: the actors who play Ash Ketchum and Brock in Spanish will be present at the Parque de la Industria on Sunday (Oct. 2). There will also be karaoke, video game tournaments, raffles and contests. Additionally, Poké-Con will host a cosplay. Find out more about Poké-Con, here.
