The newly opened Washington D.C. Trump International Hotel had its front doors vandalized Saturday (Oct. 1). The artist left the tag “Van” along with the “Black Lives Matter” slogan on one side of the doors, and “No Justice No Peace” on the other. The vandal was reportedly wearing a blue shirt and a yellow hat, according to USA Today.

The graffiti has since been covered up by the hotel staff, and the police are investigating the incident. No arrests have been made. The hotel will need to take extra security measures to prevent something like this from happening again, with their grand opening taking place later this month.
As election season is in full swing, the Donald Trump-America tension continues to build in fear of his nomination as President.
