Bruno Mars is sending his new single “Versace On The Floor” to all the lovers out there looking for a new jam.
Released early Friday (Nov. 4), the single follows the success of his latest single “24K Magic.” Mars slows things down a bit with seductive lyrics paired with 80’s nostalgia. “Girl you know you’re perfect from your head down to your heels, don’t be confused by my smile, ’cause I ain’t ever been more for real, for real,” he sings effortlessly. Mars also seems to find creative solace in the early sounds of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Produced by the “Uptown Funk” singer himself, Mars’ falsetto falls reminiscent to the late entertainer.
Ironically, Thursday (Nov. 3) happened to be the day MJ released “Rock With You” in 1979. The stars –as well as love– might be aligned for the Grammy-winning singer.
Bruno’s third album 24K Magic is now available for pre-order before its release on Nov.18.
