
To no one’s surprise, Cardi B’s “I Like It” with J. Balvin and Bad Bunny was an instant hit, with the Latin-tinged jam becoming Cardi’s second number one on the Billboard charts, the most for a female rapper. The artist brought high energy with Bunny and Balvin for the American American Music Awards, where the trio performed the hit on the small screen for the first time.
With a live band, Cardi spun on platform rapping her verses as Bunny arrived in a cart for his. Balvin later joined the artists in his signature colorful fits. The Bronx native took home her first AMA for “Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop” before her big performance.
