Mexican drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman has been captured and arrested. His wildly adventurous freedom spanned a solid six months.
President Enrique Peña Nieto tweeted the news: “Mission accomplished: we have him. I want to inform the Mexicans that Joaquín Guzmán Loera has been detained.”
El Chapo escaped from a maximum security prison, again, back in July of last year and was almost caught in October, but managed to slip away. Stay tuned as the story continues to unfold.
