Remember novel-turned-drama film Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants? Well now, thanks to the body-positive Gina Rodriguez, a “Sisterhood of the Traveling Gina’s Golden Globes Dress” is a real thing.
It all started when Rodriguez was responding to her Twitter followers Friday (Jan. 29). Some fans confided in her for advice. Others expressed their admiration for the star. One native of Buffalo, New York complimented her red carpet style.
“So would love to wear your golden globes dress to prom,” tweeted @TheJessica_C to her. The fan was referring to the cobalt satin gown that draped off Rodriguez’s shoulders, worn just a few weeks. The actress wanted to fulfill the fan’s wish. However, she no longer had the Zac Posen A-line ensemble. So Rodriguez offered something else.

Rodriguez won her first Golden Globe in a hugging black Badgley Mischka dress with a sweetheart neckline. Now, the dress will grant new memories to a lucky fan on prom night.
