Gina Rodriguez is ready to shift beauty norms as a Women’s Health game changer. According to reports, the Jane the Virgin star shamelessly spreads some body positivity by admitting she’s not a fan of Photoshop in the magazine’s October issue.
“You know, in this day and age of Photoshopping and transforming oneself and filtering and filtering and filtering, it really feels good when a photo can capture my heart, my body, my spirit, without having to gloss over it,” Rodriguez expressed. “Let me keep my curves, you know? My birthmark. I want to look like myself.”
In an effort to embrace her beauty in full, the Boricua actress is committed to keeping her character in check. “Kindness is, to me, the most attractive attribute on any human being,” she continued. “I don’t care what you look like—if you are unkind, you are ugly. You are ugly, ugly.”
