Apparently, all it takes is some Migos to get Jennifer Lopez to loosen up. Hours after the icon stunned on the red carpet at the 2017 Met Gala, she was spotted cutting it up inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Dinner to the rap trio’s performance of their No. 1 hit, “Bad and Boujee.”
Besides the fact that the Migos’ song is one of the hottest tracks out right now, it was definitely fitting considering the event—and J. Lo’s swag. In the short clip that was shared by another partygoer, the Shades of Blue star was seen bobbing her shoulders and rocking side to side as the catchy beat blasted through the speakers. Retired MLB player, Alex Rodriguez, whom attended the event as her date, didn’t seem to be enjoying himself as much as his date thought. The athlete simply sat in his chair, nodding his head here and there. Most of the party people in the background of the video also didn’t appear to be that enthused, but clearly the singer doesn’t need a dance partner to have a good time.
Guests at the dinner portion of the night also enjoyed a performance by Katy Perry, as well as speeches and awards. Prior to her dance session, Jennifer stole the show on the red carpet, wearing a Cinderella-inspired, Valentino gown, paired with gaudy jewelry. The veteran entertainer most definitely made a number of best-dressed lists alongside Rihanna, Cassie, and Rita Ora.
