Jennifer Lopez channels her inner Shakespeare for a dramatic rendition of Sir Mix-A-Lot ‘s seminal “Baby Got Back” single. A why not? She is, after all, one of the original (and natural) pioneers of the big booty phenomenon and the rapper’s muse for the hit single. He once professed that when he saw J. Lo, in all her glory, on In Living Color, he was sold.
“So Cosmo says you’re fat,” reads J. Lo in the funny clip below. “Well, I ain’t down with that.”
In her latest cover story with the W Magazine, she discusses her career beginnings and her time on American Idol.
“It has been easier. People may now think I’m ‘nice,’ but they still act surprised when I’m smart,” she said. “It’s a man’s world, and, truly, people in a business setting do not value a woman as much as a man. I feel like I’m constantly having to prove myself. If a man does one thing well, people immediately say he’s a genius. Women have to do something remarkable over and over and over. And, even then, they get questions about their love life.”
