On Wednesday night (Nov. 16), the Latin Grammys Academy of 2016 crowned Marc Anthony Person of the Year at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas. Family and friends, fellow artists at work and select media guests alike fêted the salsa icon for his artistic achievement in the Latin music industry and dedication to philanthropy.
Apart from being lavished with a banquet fit for royalty and swag bags courtesy in part of Buchanan Whiskey, guests had the privilege of witnessing a slew of performances that tugged at our heartstrings well after the show was over. Music giants like Victor Manuelle, Draco Rosa, Gabby Moreno, Prince Royce, Johnny Ventura, Milly Quezada and Carlos Vives, among many others, brought the house down before Ricky Martin presented the award and Marc Anthony himself took the stage.
